About the Book Fair
What started as a local event in Minneapolis has grown into a multi-city celebration of books, creativity, and community. The Rewind Book Fair brings together readers, writers, and makers for a nostalgic yet fresh take on the classic book fair experience. With a focus on independent booksellers, literary-inspired creators, and engaging experiences, our goal is to connect book lovers in a fun, welcoming space—no permission slip required!

Hi, I’m Rachel. When I’m not knee-deep in event planning, you can find me curled up with a hot cup of tea (Tea Source’s Minnesota N’ice is my personal favorite!), living my best life in The Sims or Dreamlight Valley, or hanging out with my real-life sidekick—my cat, Lady Grey. Whether it’s planning the next big bash or just catching up with friends and family, I’m all about creating connections that last. Let’s make some magic together! ✨

Ben | Co-Owner
Ben Penrod is the founder or co-founder of more than 10 events in 7 states. Ben has always loved reading, diving into novels, comic books, the encyclopedia, whatever was within reach. Ben started running conventions full-time in 2011 and has sold over half a million tickets since then! As Co-Owner and Director of Operations for Rewind Book Fair, Ben brings a decade and a half of experience to ensure a safe, accessible, and seamless experience for attendees, vendors, and authors alike.

Frequently asked questions
Can I buy tickets day of?
Yes! You can buy tickets at the door, but we recommend buying in advance! They’re the same price either way.
Can I bring carts or strollers?
You can bring carts that are vertical, NOT horizontal. We don’t allow strollers due to space constraints.
I am interested in vending! How can I apply?
You can apply by filling out this form.
Where can I park?
There is ample parking at the State Fair. Feel free to park on the street, or parking lots near the Grandstand.
